This blog will be following candidates, Barack Obama and Mitt Romney, throughout their campaigns for the upcoming 2012 presidential election. We will focus on the issue of taxes and how their proposals will effect the lower, middle and upper classes. Both political parties have different approaches to the issue. Obama's approach is to help the lower and middle classes by decreasing the taxes and then increasing taxes on those of the upper class. Romney's approach is to place more money in the hands of the rich by decreasing taxes and increasing it on those of the lower and middle classes. Since one of the two candidates will evidently become our next president, it is important that citizens be aware of both views and how each differs from one another. As each candidate further presents information, we will make it a priority to keep you up to date.
